The short version
- The free tools don’t need an account. What you paste or upload is sent to our AI provider to write your result, and we don’t keep a copy.
- A Career Profile is optional. If you create one, we save what you choose to confirm so you don’t have to start over each time.
- We don’t sell your information, and we don’t run advertising or analytics trackers.
- You can ask us to delete your account and everything saved in it.
Using the free tools without an account
You may paste or upload a resume, a job posting, or details from your LinkedIn profile. We send that text securely to our AI provider (Anthropic) so it can write your result. We don’t save it on our servers. The provider typically deletes it from its systems within 30 days. Files you download, such as a .docx resume, are created when you ask and handed straight back to you.
If you create a Career Profile
Career Profile is in beta testing and is by invitation only for now. Creating one is your choice, and you agree to it on screen before anything is saved.
- Sign-in. Your email and password are handled by Amazon Cognito (Amazon Web Services). We never see or store your password. Our own database holds an anonymous account ID that links your Career Profile to your sign-in, and the time you agreed to save one.
- What we save. The things you choose to confirm: your name and contact line, roles, education, certifications, skills and languages. Also the job comparisons and skill scans you run (including the job posting text you pasted), the resumes you build, and any applications you add to the tracker.
- Uploaded files. The original resume file you upload isn’t kept after we read the text from it.
- AI suggestions. AI may suggest career information from what you provide. A suggestion doesn’t become part of your saved evidence until you confirm it.
- Where it lives. In a database run for us by our hosting provider, Render. Only your own signed-in account can read your Career Profile.
Who else handles information to run the site
- Render hosts the site and the Career Profile database.
- Cloudflare sits in front of the site to deliver it quickly and block abuse. Like any network provider it sees technical connection details such as your IP address.
- Cloudflare Turnstile is a bot check on our free AI tools. It looks at technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address, only to tell people from automated scripts. We don’t use it for advertising.
- Amazon Web Services (Cognito) handles sign-in.
- Anthropic is our AI provider, as described above.
- jsDelivr delivers the sign-in code library to your browser.
- YouTube will play our videos once we publish them. Playing a video is between you and YouTube.
We don’t sell your information or share it for advertising.
Cookies and tracking
We don’t use advertising or analytics trackers. When you sign in, your session is kept in your browser’s session storage for that tab and is cleared when you sign out or close it.
Your choices
- You can review and edit everything in your Career Profile from your dashboard.
- You can delete your account and everything saved with it yourself: sign in, find Your Data at the bottom of your dashboard, and choose Delete my data and account. It first offers a backup you can download, asks you to type DELETE, then permanently erases your saved Career Profile, scans, resumes, applications and drafts, and removes your sign-in account. This cannot be undone.
- You can also ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete your data for you, by emailing yovanarathbone@creatingtomorrow.net.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and its date. Questions? yovanarathbone@creatingtomorrow.net.
