Our goal
We want everyone to be able to use Creating Tomorrow, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification, or who have low vision, color blindness, or cognitive differences. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What we do
- Pages use real headings, links and buttons so assistive technology can follow them.
- Everything can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Buttons and links are sized to be easy to tap.
- Layouts adapt from phones to large screens, and text can be enlarged.
- Decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them, and meaningful images have descriptions.
Where we’re still working
We’re a small team and this site hasn’t yet had an independent accessibility audit. We know we have more to check, especially colour contrast on some accents, and the interactive screens in the signed-in dashboard. We’d rather say that plainly than claim a perfect score.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on the site is hard or impossible for you to use, please email yovanarathbone@creatingtomorrow.net with the page and what happened. We’ll read every message, and we’ll work with you on another way to get what you need while we fix it.
